In this hands-on sourdough class, you will be practicing all of the steps of baking a successful sourdough bread. Starting with feeding a starter and leaving with dough ready to go in the oven, this class will teach every step. You will also learn about the tools needed for sourdough baking, hand shaping the dough, the proofing and baking process, starter maintenance, and what to do with sourdough discard. Leave with an active starter, tools, rattan bowl, mixing bowl, starter jar, recipes, and the dough to bake a loaf of bread. Samples of different sourdough baked goods will be handed out! Limit of 12. Starter kits have to be ordered so register early.
